Patio door blinds – Insulated blind help to make your home more efficient, either during winter or summer. People often think hanging insulated curtains in the windows, but not everyone is thinking about hanging insulated blinds on the doors. This is a good idea, especially if you have sliding glass doors or even an all-glass front door. Insulated blinds will protect your home from cold weather in winter that comes in around the edges of the door and blocks the warm sun from your home, keeping electrical bills down.
Take the patio door blinds from the door. Measure their length and width, using a tape measure. Cut the drapery insulation, a thick lining, to the same measurements of your curtain, with scissors. Lay out your drapery insulation on a large flat surface. Turn under the rough edges of the fabric 1/2 inch and leave another 1/2 inch. Use sticks to hold the fabric in place. Do this all the way around the edge of the fabric.
